All cover donations are 100% going towards our Sponsorship Program for piano lessons and keyboards. By participating in our Open Mic Night, you are funding students from Title 1 Virginia schools (low income communities) with private music lessons! All cover donations are tax-deductable. Please feel free to share this with friends & family. Ask your teacher for more details!

How to Sign-up? Via the yellow scheduler on our home page, click on the "Events" category. Click on "Open Mic" and select the "quantity" of performers. If you have 2 performers, you will select a quantity of 2 tickets. Each performer is $15 that helps us fundraise for our Sponsorship Program. Then select the time/date and complete the booking. You will know you have completed registration once a confirmation receipt has arrived in your inbox! Thank you for supporting your children/students in music!

Does the donation cover food & drink?
No. Attendees will order from the menu with regular pricing. You can review their menu via link provided in confirmation email. The cover donation that you make when you sign-up 100% goes towards the Student Sponsorship Program.
What is Open Mic? There will be a keyboard and microphone set up but no official program. Students can come and go up to the stage as they please. We just ask that students perform one song at a time, so other students also have enough time to perform. Open Mics are designed to be low stress environments so students can experience performing with less pressure. Hopefully they will catch the music bug and get excited about performances!
Can only P&M students perform? The stage is reserved for P&M students only, however we love and encourage our students to perform with friends and/or family. Seeing how creative students are in a music group sounds like loads of fun!
How can I make a bigger donation?
You can donate here or at the event, we will have a table where attendees can make another donation via cc or cash. Please do not change the quantity via the scheduler for the purposes of increasing your donation. We need an accurate number of attendees to plan accordingly.
