Do you use CREATIVE tools to make learning music fun?

We believe teachers shouldn't only show up to a lesson with a lesson book. There's many ways to enhance learning and a big one is utilizing fun tools. We are looking for teachers who incorporate music props, games, and resources with their teaching. If you don't do this yet but want to learn more, that's great too. We provide training!

Do you love working with kids?

Although we have several adult and teenage students, most of our students fall in the 5-12YO age range. ​We are looking for teachers who already have experience working with elementary age groups. 

Do you have after-school availability?

We are looking for teachers who can have a studio of at least 10 students. This will require availability of at least 2-3 business days in the afternoon (4-8pm) or weekends. 

Do you have a reliable vehicle?

We service in-home lessons ONLY. Public transportation or Uber will not work. Most of our students reside in Arlington County, Virginia so we only hire teachers that live within a 30 minute radius. All teachers must have a reliable vehicle for transportation. We organize routes to be 3-12 minutes of driving between homes. 

Can you commit long-term?

Every teacher signs a one-year contract.  Our ideal candidate would be a teacher who can commit to their students for 3-5 years.

 Job Description
$56-70 hourly | Private In-Home Teacher: Piano, Guitar, and/or Voice
Arlington, Virginia
Vehicle required
After-school hours
This position is in-home teaching only. Lessons are scheduled back to back using our Efficient Scheduling Protocol (3-12 min drive from house to house). Most students are located in Arlington or nearby zip codes. Due to the travel required for lessons, we will only interview local teachers (home residence within 30 minutes driving distance from Arlington). Please do not apply if you are not local or not planning to move here.​​
