Don't like the pressure of recitals? No worries. Performance is a skillset of it's on that needs to be developed. We know not all students are ready to jump into a recital and so we offer low pressure performing environments like open mics or jam sessions.

Recitals are a great way to showcase a student's progress made from the semester in a more formal environment. Students dress up, practice recital etiquette, and learn how to present themselves as performers. A Winter & Spring Recital is hosted every school year.

Curious about how music works in real life? Want to try another instrument or meet other musicians like you? Try a workshop or hop on a field trip! We've hosted trips for our students to visit local recording studios and the Kennedy Center in Washington DC.
