Student Sponsorship Program

Selected students from title one schools are assigned to a P&M teacher that meets with them at their school once a week for their piano lesson. All students are given their own keyboard to take home, as well as lesson books & free participation to P&M events.

How does it work?

Step 1: We connect with music teachers in title one schools that nominate qualified students. We are currently working on building those relationships. We are looking for students that truly have an interest to learn and can handle the extra training with their current workload. Once we have our nominated student's information organized, we will post them here.

Step 2: Those students will be matched with Piano & More teachers. We prefer to commit to teach those students for an entire school year, but understand that is not always the reality. We have organized options that allow sponsors to choose whether they want to commit to 3 months, 1 semester (5 months) or 1 school year (10 months).

Step 3: We provide the instrument and a practice book that will track assignments and progress. We are currently collecting keyboard donations that have anything close to 1) 88 keys and 2) Semi-weighted keys.

Step 4: This is where you come in. The student will need to be picked up by a sponsor. By committing to one of our options, you are now giving the gift of music to a deserving child.

Step 5: We are honored to teach every child that joins our community, but when we know it's a gift, it makes the experience extra special. We will provide fun and exciting lessons, where each child will grow in music theory, technique and knowledge about their instrument. We cannot wait to get started!

The best part is that you will get to see the reward. We can open up opportunities where you have a chance to connect with your student. If interested, we will invite you to their music recitals, Christmas concerts, Jam Sessions, Field Trips, and keep you updated about the student's progress via videos sent to your email address.

To sponsor a student's music lessons, please fill out the sponsor form below and give us about 48 hours to get back in touch. Your donations will be compiled into a tax deduction statement for the end of the year that will be mailed or emailed to you.
