June 2026 we celebrated a very special milestone: our 10th annual Spring Recital. This year felt different in the best way. After years of hosting recitals, we wanted to create something that felt bigger, more exciting, and more memorable for our students and families. Our venue in Falls Church, Virginia gave us the space to do just that. A Full Day of Student PerformancesThroughout the day, students stepped on stage, shared what they had been working on, and had their own moment to be celebrated. They confidently played on the grand piano, guitar, or sang, sometimes even with another family member! What a special way to perform and celebrate. Meet the MusicianOne of the cool upgrades this year was displaying special info about each performer on a large screen on stage. Before each performance, families could see a “Meet the Musician” slide with details about the student performer such as fun facts and how long they’ve been playing their instrument.. It added a personal touch and helped each student feel seen before they even played a note. Recognizing Every PerformerAnother meaningful addition this year was our reward ceremony. Every performer received a custom medal to recognize their hard work and accomplishment. We believe it matters for students to have something physical they can hold, wear, and take home. It makes the moment feel more real, and it gives families a beautiful photo opportunity with their favorite music teacher. Fun Additions for Students and FamiliesWe added a few fun activities this year too. Families could stop by the Refreshments station for food and drinks, students could visit the Prize Shop and exchange their Piano Bucks for rewards, and we even set up a games station for the whole family to try out. These new additions made the day feel less like a quick performance and more like a full celebration. Students had something to look forward to before and after they played, and families had more time to enjoy the experience together. A Recital to RememberWe are so proud of every student who performed. Getting on stage takes courage, and it was beautiful to see so many students share their music with confidence and joy.
A huge thank you to our teachers, families, and students for making this recital such a success. Our 10th Spring Recital was truly one to remember. Here’s to more music, more confidence, and many more happy musicians. |
